Jones Epilepsy
Tuesday 4th MarJones is 7 years old and loves running around and playing sports! He loves school and spending time with his family and friends. Jones had his 1st seizure in July 2024 and diagnosed with SeLECTS childhood epilepsy.
He’s had multiple seizures over the months and his worst one we have ever witnessed in November.
We are sharing our story for more awareness around Epilepsy. In our case, there’s no family history. We would’ve never dreamed we would have a child who was healthy one day and having seizures the next. It’s extremely confronting to watch your child have a seizure. We have been grateful to the paramedics & neurologists who have helped Jones.
He is on medication now and it seems to be working for him!
We are extremely grateful to the Epilepsy Foundation for their help, guidance and support during a scary time for us. They have helped us navigate our “new normal” for Jones!
