The Purple Grill Challenge is completed by organising and hosting a purple themed BBQ and inviting your family, friends and colleagues to attend.
The grill can include:
- Purple food
- Purple cutlery and plates
- Purple dress theme
- Purple decorations.
Purple Grill attendees can be asked to donate at least $27 (for the 270,000 living with epilepsy) to your fundraising page.
Be sure to share any Purple Grill photos/videos on your fundraising page and social media to help spread awareness and update supporters on your progress. Tag the epilepsy organisation you are supporting and use the hashtags #MakeMarchPurple #PurpleHeroes #PurplePower

Matt Preston is an award-winning Australian food journalist, author and TV personality, perhaps best known as a former judge on the hit reality cooking competition, MasterChef Australia.
Sadly, Matt lost his brother to Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy or SUDEP. Since then, Matt and his family have channelled their grief into advocacy and support for people living with epilepsy.
Matt is leading the Purple Grill Challenge during March to show his support for the 270,000 people in Australia living with epilepsy.
