As a woman and a mother I have had Epilepsy for 26 years now. I wasn't born with it and yes you can develop epilepsy at any time in your life.
Looking at me you would never know I had a condition of sorts. There is no cure, it can only be controlled to a certain extent. Honestly it has been debilitating at periods during my life. All I can say is I am glad to be alive and I live everyday accordingly. Everyday is a gift for in my eyes.
